Sunday School We have Sunday School classes available for every age group from infant to youth and young adults to seniors. Classes meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Education Building and Family Life Center. You are always welcome to visit in any of our Sunday School classes! United Methodist Women (UMW) A community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the community, state and global ministries of the church. Our UMW General Meetings are held quarterly on the first Tuesday of the month (Feb, May, Sep, Nov) with our Circle groups meeting every second Tuesday of the month with various programs and speakers. We also have an Annual UMW Christmas Party in December.
CAREGIVERS Our wonderful Caregivers keep a watchful eye on our homebound members and members in nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Our group ensures that our members stay in touch with Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church through the LyttleTeller, cards, visits, and Upper Room devotionals.
Scouts - Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts & Brownie Scouts
recognize Girl Scout Leader Susan White of Troop 2238 Scout Leader Jim Bradshaw, LSUMC and Ileana Arvelo, The Community Development Manager Kershaw County, Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands, Inc. Present Girl Scout Leader Susan White with The God and Service Award. The God and Service Award is a national recognition awarded by churches and national youth agencies cooperating with Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (P.R.A.Y). It is given to acknowledge distinguished volunteer service by adults in ministry to young people through service to the church and one or more of the national youth agencies (Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.). Susan is the first Girl Scout Leader to earn this National Award in Kershaw County and at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, Camden, SC. Scouts hold “Scout Sunday” service
The Girl Scout Troop 2238, Cub Pack 303, and Boy Scout Troop 303’s youth and adults participated in Scout Sunday morning services. Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church of Camden has sponsored and supported the youth of the community with Scouting activities, since April 16, 1950; plus also this year the Boy Scouts of America are celebrating their centennial anniversary for “100 years of Scouting” by “celebrating the adventure and continuing the journey” of Scouting (Join us Today).

Our church sponsors Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups. We have been the chartered organization for Troop 303 Boy Scouts for over 50 consecutive years. For more information regarding our scouting program, please call the church Scouting Liaison, Mr. Art Graham at (803) 432-7370.
